Sicily Kid's Experience
Sicily Kid’s Experience is an event for families who travel in Sicily with their children.
Organized by Kidsinsicily and Siciliaweekend.info, Sicily Kid’s Experience will take place Saturday November 21st from 10 pm to 7 pm and Sunday November 22nd from 10 am to 1 pm, in Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, Palermo. Two days to improve the knowledge of Sicilian territory and how make it interesting for kids. Experiences, ideas, territories and services to establish a dynamic and efficient network. Entrance and participation to Sicily Kid’s Experience activities is completely free.
Expo area: Sala Perriera - Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, Palermo, where you'll find all touristic firms offering services to children from 0 to 14 years. Open from 10 am to 7 pm free entrance. Talk, meeting and information about tourism for baby.
Labs area: Le Botteghe – Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, Palermo, totally dedicated to children with workshop and lot of activities for them. The world of the tourist operators that offers services suitable for children, as a moment of professional development to construction of a tourist offer that is suitable for children: the rules, the attractions and how to develop the sector (comparison experiences). Panel discussion among stakeholders will take place Saturday, November 21st at 3pm in Sala Perriera , Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa.

ECOMUSEO 10 am Walking tour “Il lungomare della città: dal Castello al mare all’Ecomuseo”. Una passeggiata lungo il mare in città e i luoghi che ancora ne preservano la memoria: Cala, Kalsa, Foro Italico, piazza Marina fino all’Ecomuseo memoria viva. Esperienza unica di turismo di comunità, di conoscenza e divertimento, lontano dalle rotte turistiche classiche.

How to arrive: from Piazza Politeama go to via Dante Alighieri till the crossroad to via Serradifalco. Turn left and then take the first street on the right hand toward piazza Principe di Camporeale. The street on your right hand is via Paolo Gili and there you will find the entrance Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa. By bus: bus 106 o 475 from via Dante crossroad via XX settembre. Ticket price euro 1,40 to buy at bar/tabacchi o Amat points.
